The very first point in support of working from home is going to be that you do not have to worry about commuting to work and being late because you were stuck in traffic.
The 2nd supporting point is going to be that in most countries what you used to be a home cost is now a business expense so is tax deductible. Heating and running your house are two examples of this.
A 3rd favorable point is you do not have to get all dressed up to go to work. If you want you could spend the day working in your dressing gown.
The 4th point in support of working from home is going to be you get to spend more time with your family.
And last (but not necessarily least) we’ve got the 5th point in support is that you will not have your boss in the office with you all day.
And alternatively, to help keep this balanced, there is Con; Against:
The first point in contra for working from home will be it is easy to be distracted from your work by a home problem.
The 2nd point against will be if you do end out working in your dressing gown all day then you may not be working with the right attitude. This could lead to being less productive.
A 3rd significant point against is it is easy to not get started on your work as there is no boss standing over you.
A fourth negative point is going to be that work life and home life can end out becoming blurred if you cannot cut off from your work once you have finished.
