If you are a stay at home mom, you are probably thinking “there is no home based business that’s right for me”. You can’t spend all your time in front of the computer and not pay attention to your kids! This might not be good for moms who lives in an apartment, but if you have the space, inside and out, and have a love for animals, pet sitting might be just right for you. Dog walking is another service that you can provide to make extra money. Baking cakes, cookies, fresh bread, etc. are always big sellers and if you are good in a kitchen, use that skill to make the extra money need. It’s not uncommon for people to sell cookies or cakes to friends, family and even to people online. If your culinary skills are top notch you could become a personal chef. You make the meals at your place, refrigerate them and they would then be ready for pick up or delivery.

Other home based jobs include scrapbooking, craft making and even online survey taking, which can be done when the kids are sleeping.

With a bit of imagination and using all the resources that are already at hand, you can be both a stay at home mom and a home based business owner. You’ll still have the quality time with your kids and at the same time you’ll be building that extra income that you need. Sounds like a win-win situation all the way around! The only one who stop you, is you yourself.
